Do you need sedation for a wisdom tooth extraction?

I am a 29 year old male. I need a few wisdom teeth removed. Do you need sedation for a wisdom tooth extraction?

Some people could need iv sedation
Yes as they have to cut through bone to get them out.Most of the oral surgeons do their own sedation administered by a RN.You can check with your surgeon for more information.
For wisdom tooth extraction, your dentist will give you an oral nerve block along with some low dose intravenous medication that will allow you to tolerate the procedure well.
