“Do your teeth hurt after you get the braces off?”
I'm finally at the end of my braces treatment, and I'm getting them taken off next week. I'm really excited about it and can't wait to see what my teeth look like without the races. But, I'm just wondering, will my teeth hurt or feel sore after I got my braces taken off?

Hurt, no. However you will feel an uncomfortable sponginess of all your teeth that have been harnessed under the pressure of the braces and this is what your retainers for is to remind your teeth where your orthodontist put them which is in the best position for function and Aesthetics for your mouth.
They should not hurt
No. Remember to wear your retainers as instructed.
