Acupuncture with. herbs, and sometimes massage, is very helpful with GI problems. It can take a series of sessions depending on the severity of your acid reflux.
yes. I encourage you to book a session with your practitioner of choice to get help with relief. You will probably need to take herbal medicine for a little while.
Yes it does but it is important to note that Acid reflux is most often due to a food or drink you have consumed that does not sit well with the stomach.
Yes, it can treat acid reflux. But I would also look into getting some food enzymes to help your food digest more quickly so it isn't sitting in your stomach fermenting, causing gas, opening the sphincter in your diaphragm, allowing food and acid to flow back up into your throat.
Yes. I have seen acupuncture effectively treat acid reflux...but in conjunction with lifestyle and diet changes.

Yes.
So acupuncture can help with acid reflux, but I would also put you on a food healing protocol with activated charcoal before meals to make sure the acid stays in the stomach. Peppermint tea/and or oil may also help after the meal.
Yes, it does.

Acupuncture is excellent for acid reflux. You may have to also change your diet and/or lifestyle. the Acupuncturist can help you determine the underlying cause of the reflux so that you can prevent future episodes.

A combination of acupuncture with Chinese herbal medicine will achieve a better result.
Yes. Your stomach meridian needs to be opened up! Acupuncture and herbs are perfect for acid reflux. You may need to go acupuncture every month though depending on your constitution.
Hello & thank you for your question! Yes acupuncture can treat symptoms of acid reflux. You may be a great candidate for an herbal formula, if that is something you are open to. The sooner you get in to see a practitioner, the better (this way it will likely take less treatments to resolve your symptoms compared to if you put it off longer).
Yes, Acupuncture is very effective to treat stomach problems.

Acupuncture can help with acid reflux. Depending on what your acid reflux is due to, we would have to come up with proper diagnosis, in order to come up with a proper treatment protocol.
Yes, it is. In general, acupuncture is very good for acid reflux. before, I have this problem, I fix it use acupuncture on my body by myself. And made it clinically cured.
Definitely. Acupuncture can treat and prevent acid reflux, and help your body repair any damage that has been done by the reflux.
Yes, acupuncture can cure acid reflux.
I appreciate your desire to explore non-pharmacological options for acid reflux.
Acupuncture is a very safe, clinically effective treatment for acid reflux and GERD. Best of luck to you!
No, there is zero evidence that acupuncture can reduce stomach acid. The anti-acid medications like omeprazole, esomeprazole (PPIs) are actually quite safe and can be taken over the counter without a prescription. These medicines would be advised to help control acid in the stomach. The recent articles (that made it into the lay press) that warn about side effects of PPIs are association studies that do not prove any real risk. Just take the lowest dose of those pills that control symptoms are you should do well.
I have had great success treating acid reflux and its associated symptoms including, but not limited to raspy voice, burning throat, and affecting digestion. A combination of acupuncture with herbal formula supplements will be very effective, but it does depend on the symptoms you are presenting. The practitioner you see should be able to provide your prognosis upon taking your tongue & pulse and evaluating your symptoms.

In my experience, yes, acid reflux responds very well to acupuncture.

You're in a great position to take the acupuncture route because you haven't started any medications. The common reflux meds often cause rebound acidity when withdrawn, and this typically lasts a week or two. Since you're not on meds, you won't experience this bump and it should be a fairly smooth transition.
Yes. Acid reflux is a symptom of the body's imbalance. You have acid reflux because somewhere in your body there is excess energy that needs to flow to the areas of deficiency. Chines medicine diagnoses and treats through a system of treating patterns found along meridians. We have a saying. One pattern many diseases, one disease many patterns. Your acid reflux is unique to the patterns in your body. Acupuncture will restore the balance and alleviate your discomfort by finding the root of the problem safely and effectively without negative side effects.
