Does hydrogen peroxide kill cavities?

I am a 22 year old male. I want to know if hydrogen peroxide kills cavities?

No. Once the cavities happen, only a dentist can fix it by removing the decay. If not treated. It can grow bigger, when it reach the nerve, that’s when pain occurs.
Hydrogen peroxide can help kill the bacteria in your mouth.
Great Question! While hydrogen peroxide can help control bacteria, it will not stop progression of dental decay in your tooth as there is damaged tooth structure in the cavity which has to be removed in order to protect your tooth from further damage.

I don't know of any studies suggesting H2O2 stops cavities. The benefits of hydrogen peroxide is having an effervescent quality. This means it bubbles, so possibly helps bring some bacteria from below the gums to the surface, but I am unsure of concentration and effects on the periodontal tissues. So, please discuss with your dentist. SDF, stannous diamine fluoride, has been shown to arrest cavities when applied. Please discuss with your dentist.
Hope this helps.
No unfortunately not. In fact with extended use it can break down the organic matrix holding the enamel(outer surface of the tooth)allowing it to dissolve away.
No. It might kill some germs, but not all. The decay must be removed and a filling placed to seal out decay. Don't wait, because the decay might get deeper and reach the pulp with the nerve, and that will be a much bigger problem. See a dentist.
Hydrogen peroxide is what white blood cells manufacture to kill germs after it has absorbed the germ. So if you could get the hydrogen peroxide directly onto the decay and allow it to sit undisturbed, then it might work. Of course that would be impossible. Best bet with tooth decay is to first identify what you are doing to cause it and then to remove it. Unfortunately no dental material is as good as the original enamel, so try your best to avoid cavities.
