“Does Invisalign provide permanent results?”
I am a 21 year old female and I am considering Invisalign. Does Invisalign provide permanent results?

Yes, it does, however, keep in mind you have to wear your retainers. There are other habits that may also move your teeth after Invisalign, some of these may be, but are not limited to, tongue thrusting, mouth breathing, etc.
Results usually are very good in treatment. Unfortunately, you are older than 16-18. Lifetime retention is necessary.
Invisalign or any of the many clear tray correction options can provide amazing results over time. It is important to know that any type of teeth movement system that moves teeth into a more aesthetic position or alignment, will ultimately need a retainer to maintain the teeth in the final position. The bottom line is that teeth like to move and move easily so the final placement will only last as long as you wear your final retainer.
Hello,
Good for you for wanting to better your teeth. Invisalign is just a means to the same end as braces. It will only straighten your teeth using a different materials. The results are the same as if someone had braces. Retainers would need to be worn to maintain the results and just like with braces. Invisalign retainers would be very much like the aligners that were worn during the Invisalign and usually only worn at night though. Hope this helps.
My best to you!
