“Does Listerine work well?”
I use Listerine every day in the morning, but I noticed that it only works for a little while. Does Listerine usually work well? Should I choose another mouthwash?

Yes, I love Listerine. It has essential oils in it that others do not. But any mouthwash is going wash away fairly quickly from your own saliva.

Listerine is a great mouthwash and there are so many varieties for dry mouth, gum disease, anti-cavity with fluoride, et al. Crest Pro Health is also a good mouthwash that is ADA approved.

Listerine contains alcohol, which works for a time, but is drying to the mouth so it will stop working and feel like you need more. You should use an alcohol-free mouthwash and hydrate well with plain water for a better result.
