I am a 38 year old female. I want to know if pain management prescribes opioids?

Pain management does have the ability to prescribe opioids however, doctors typically require patients undergo interventional treatments, sign a contract restricting them from receiving opioids from anyone else, require urine screens monthly and various other things in order for a patient to receive medication consistently.
