Does your emotions affect your blood sugar?

I am a 16 year old male with diabetes. I want to know does your emotions affect your blood sugar?

Most people think they do. Stress produces more adrenaline which increases the blood glucose levels.
Of course! Just like sick days, stress will also raise your blood sugar. Remember that expression "fight or flight"? Right out of the internet definition:
What Happens During the *Fight*-or-*Flight* Response. In response to acute stress, the body's sympathetic nervous system is activated by the sudden release of *hormones.* The sympathetic nervous system then stimulates the adrenal glands, triggering the release of catecholamines (including adrenaline and noradrenaline). THESE HORMONES CREATE RELEASE OF MORE GLUCOSE, SUGAR, INTO YOUR BLOODSTREAM BY MAKING MORE ATP"S IN YOUR CELLS WHICH ARE THE FUNDAMENTAL BIOCHEMICALS THAT MAKE GLUCOSE IN YOUR CELLS THAT IS NEEDED FOR YOUR CELLS TO HAVE MORE ENERGY TO FIGHT OFF THE STRESS. Find a quick way to ward off the stress and your blood sugars will come down.
