“Can excess wax secretion be a problem?”
My mother has been complaining of excessive wax secretion in her ears. Could it be a problem?

Excessive wax production should be managed by a professional such as an Audiologist or Ear Nose Throat Physician. A wax impaction can cause temporary hearing loss and discomfort and should be removed as quickly as possible. Please do not use q-tips to combat the wax on your own, this usually just pushes the wax further in and makes it more difficult to remove!
