“Feeling the onset of a cold. Is it okay to take Theraflu? ”
I'm feeling an onset of a cold--I've been coughing on and off and I have a slight sore throat. I don't think it's serious because I'm not feverish at all and I'm not experiencing any congestion. I bought Theraflu to treat this since I'm going on vacation in a few days. Do you think it's okay to take Theraflu to prevent this from developing into something worse?

You can try an over the counter like theraflu and see if this gives you relief. Most flu’s (viruses) will last 5-7 days. If you develop a fever or symptoms persist it would then be prudent to see your physician

Absolutely. If it worsens, I would suggest going in to a local physician practice or urgent care to be seen.
