“Gum pain after getting a tooth pulled. Is it ok?”
I had tooth extracted just last week and I'm still experiencing gum pain. Will this pain go away on its own? Do you think I should be concerned?

The patient shouldn't be concerned. It also depends on the place of the extraction. In the lower jaw, especially the back teeth region, it's more sensitive than in the front or in the upper jaw. Also, pain can still be there, but it should be gradually getting less. After 10 days, it should be almost over. Try to reduce the amount of painkillers as much as possible and try to endure some pain. Painkillers can induce pain by themselves. Rinsing with oxygenated water helps, like Bluem mouth rinse. Avoid chlorhexidine mouth rinses, they might irritate or induce cancer.
