My uric acid is showing a higher number in my latest urine report. Is It a sign of kidney damage? Or what else could it be?

Hyperuricemia can cause stones as well as slow decline in kidney function depending on high high the uric acid levels in blood are. Will need to be treated by change in diet as well as addition of medication to improve it.
There are several reasons for elevated uric acid in blood and urine. Can range from excess red meat consumption, primary genetic disease as well as cancers ( tumor lysis syndrome) .
Please discuss this with your physician to get to the underlying etiology and then it can be treated based on the cause

High uric acid can be a risk factor for kidney injury, but it doesn’t reflect kidney damage. I would suggest a low-purine diet and get it rechecked in 3-4 months.
