Hello, the implants are inserted through a small incision in the mouth over your cheek bone, and secured in place with temporary stitches. If you have any further questions or inquiries please visit my website at Drroya.com. Good luck!
Depending on your needs a cheek implant can be inserted through a hidden incision from inside your mouth at the junction of the upper gum line and lip, or through a hidden incision on the inside of your lower eyelid. Both approaches are effective and safe as long as your surgeon is experienced in both techniques.
Usually through the mouth, although facelift and eyelid incisions can be used.
Through an incision inside the mouth, above the upper gum line, in what is known as the canine fossa.
Cheek implants are inserted (hidden) through the upper mouth behind the lip so there is no external scar.
