“How can I check my kid for scoliosis?”
My son is 11 years old, and he is very active. He just had a growth spurt, and I'm worried about how his spine formed with it. How can I check my for scoliosis?

You can take your son to the pediatrician and she/he will check the back for any curvatures. If it’s there, a scoliosis survey can be done.

Take his shirt off and have him bend forward with his hands even about 6 inches from the floor. Look at his bend spine and make sure the spine is in the center and that neither shoulder is humped up more that the other side
