I am a 28 year old female and I have pancreatitis. How dangerous is pancreatitis?

First of all, be careful about being labeled with pancreatitis. It is often misdiagnosed. If you truly have pancreatitis, then it can be dangerous because it can be complicated by infection, fluid collections, and multi-organ failure in severe cases.
Can be quite severe. What caused your pancreas to be inflamed? If it’s gallstones, then remove the gallbladder, and if it’s alcohol, then stop drinking. It depends on the cause and severity.
Recurrent pancreatitis will burn the pancreas causing diabetes and chronic diarrhea.
