“How do 'growing pains' work?”
My daughter has 'growing pains' in her legs that keep her awake at night. I just don't understand what's happening medically? Can you explain?

This is pain at the growth plates during rapid growth. Try giving motrin before bedtime, If they wake her up after going to sleep further workup may be needed
