My 81 year old aunt needs a procedure done under anesthesia. I want to know how do people over the age of 80 tolerate anesthesia?

The elderly could have excessive reactions to drugs or gases use in geta. Also could need more time to wake up. But sometimes patients are of old age, but have good physical condition, and their reaction is the same as young ones.
