I am a 44 year old male. I will have surgery under general anesthesia. How do they wake you up from anesthesia?

Once gases are discontinued, you should start breathing. There are drugs used to reverse muscular paralysis.
When surgery is over, the anesthetist will turn the anesthesia off and you will gradually wake up over the next few minutes.
