Most common is with a floss threader (works like z needle threader) or superfloss or a small dentalinterproximal cleaners. Do not use a toothpick.
There are a variety of floss threaders that can help you get under a bridge. There is also threader Floss that has a stiff end that can be used to get under a bridge. Soft Pics are another option.
Floss, floss floss, floss. Did I mention floss? Water Pik works well, too.
You can use a floss threaders which is like a plastic needle threaders the floss under the bridge or you can use a WaterPik

Floss threaders, superfloss, and water picks are all excellent methods of cleaning under bridges. Ask your dentist or hygienist to demonstrate these methods for you.
There is a cleaning aid sold in drug stores called floss threaders. This aid allows you to get floss under the missing tooth area so you can run floss back and forth to allow cleaning and gum stimulation.
Any pharmacy will make a product called floss threaders in the dental aisle. Replace floss through threader and then push the threader underneath the bridge next to one of the anchor teeth employed through on the other side. You can just grab the floss bridge.
Gently move the spongy floss between the gum and the base of the bridge, use a soft back-and-forth motion to remove plaque under the false tooth. Then wrap the spongy floss around the real tooth at the other side of the bridge, slide up and down to clean the adjacent tooth surface.
The best method is to use a floss threader. It can be placed beneath the bridge with the floss looped into it. You pull it through and then rub the floss against the gum tissue beneath the bridge. You can use a thin rubber tip alternatively if there is enough room for it. See your dental office for hands on instruction. Good luck.
