How do you soothe a teething baby?

My baby is teething and I don't know what medications are safe to give him. How do you soothe a teething baby?

Teething rings and teething toys, and a gentle gum massage with your clean finger are helpful. There are some approved teething gels but your pediatrician would have to approve of them. Their appropriate weight based dose of tylenol can be given as well.
Tylenol and some iced cold teething ring.
You can give a cold teething toy to teethe on and low dose tylenol if they are fussy. Oragel and other meds that numb the gums are usually very temporary and may have side effects.
