Depends on the diagnosis. A complete ophthalmologic exam should be performed.

Your son should see an ophthalmologist to determine why is vision is blurry. He likely needs glasses, but there can be other causes.

Take him to an ophthalmologist for a complete exam.

Blurred vision in that age group is usually a prescription for glasses. If it is new onset he needs to have full eye exam to make sure there is no other reason for his blurred vision.
