How is HPV diagnosed?

I am a 32 year old female. I want to know how is HPV diagnosed?

HPV shows in vulva, vagina, cervix, rectum, anus, penis, and scrotum. Also, can be seen in mouth and throat. The way to confirm the diagnosis is when you get genital warts. A biopsy is taken, or the complete wart is excised, then sent to the laboratory to be examined and identified. Thank you.
