Depending on how bad the eyes were before surgery the benefits of blepharoplasty can be visible even within a few days. In general it takes about two weeks for enough of the bruising and swelling to go down to see most of the benefit of the surgery.
Despite some swelling and bruising, there are immediate improvements. But, the final result may be 3-4 weeks away. You need to keep the head elevated, no exercise, use cooling pads, to improve the result which means: follow the post-operative instructions.
Most patients note the improvement at three weeks post-op.

Most patients can see a positive result following blepharoplasty after the first 5 days. Swelling and bruising may persist considerably longer, but the changes of surgery should be apparent.

Eyelid surgery is very well tolerated and heals quickly. There can be some swelling and bruising which generally resolves during the first week. We provide nutritional support products that speed the recovery process. By 7-10 days eye makeup can be applied if so desired. The appearance continues to improve over the next 2-3 months
The swelling and bruising could last 2 weeks. You will see an improvement in a few days and up to 2 months after. Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.
Sutures are removed following blepharoplasty in 5-7 days and you should see results at that point. Slight swelling will continue to reduce over the second week. By two weeks, most patients can see their result clearly and feel comfortable in all social situations.
After a blepharoplasty you will see results immediately. The results will continue to optimize as you heal over 6 months to a year. Make sure to see a board certified plastic surgeon.
It depends on how much swelling you have. For the upper lids, if you had a lot of hooding, you see an improvement almost the next day. For lower bags, it takes about a week. Within one to two weeks, you should see quite an improvement. If you had a lot of black and blue, that may take 3 weeks to resolve.

While final blepharoplasty results can take a few months to finalize, improvements in appearance should be apparent in one or two weeks Each case is individual and can be affected by various things such as preexisting anatomy, postoperative swelling, and individual wound healing factors.
