Hi there,

Typically, a crown can be gotten 3-4 months after an implant.
After the implant sits for 4 months, the implant can be loaded and the crown can be made.If you wait for an extended time, the drifting of adjacent teeth could pose a problem.
There is currently no limit on how long you can go without a crown restoration on an implant in regards to the implant itself. Things to consider are adjacent or opposing teeth shifting into the space where the crown for the implant would be. This time frame varies from patient to patient-2 months to years. Implants are evolving so waiting a long time might make having a crown done much later difficult to know what implant was placed and or finding compatible parts to use.
There really is no time limit. Some patients wait years.

Ask the doctor who is going to place the implant. It depends. Sometimes you will need to wait 6 months, sometimes 4 months, sometimes 2 months, and in some cases, the tooth is restored within a month, but it depends on many factors. Is there a tooth in the space that needs to be extracted? If so, is it infected? Will you need a bone graft? In what part of the mouth is it located? Ask your surgeon, and the dentist who will restore and place the crown.
Once your implant is placed, you should allow 4-6 months for healing before your crown is placed.
Hi,

Usually a crown can be placed between 4-6 months after implant placement. However, there is no real rule, it depends on bone quality and torque achieved on Implant placement. Sometimes we are loading early in 2-3 months. But it all depends.
Hope this helped.
Although not a great idea but the truth is - indefinitely.
