Dentist Questions Dental Bridges

How long does a bridge last?

I'm 36, and I have had a dental bridge installed very recently. Exactly how long does a bridge last? My dentist didn't tell me anything about their longevity.

While, depending on a variety of factors, a bridge could last a lifetime, statistically, you can expect a bridge to last between ten and twenty years.
On average, a bridge should last 4–6 years. And some bridges can last 10-15 years, and others have lasted over 30 years. It is a question you should call back and ask the dentist that did the work. There could also be some other factors involved that are not presented here without knowing your dental history.
