How long does it take for swelling to go down after dental implant surgery?

I am a 40-year-old male. I will have dental implant surgery. How long does it take for swelling to go down after dental implant surgery?

It really depends on the extent of the procedure. How many implants are being placed? Will there be bone or soft tissue grafting performed in conjunction with the implant placement? Are teeth being extracted? If it is just implant placement without any adjunctive procedures, then swelling is typically minimal.
It really depends on the extent of your implant surgery. If a single implant, maybe 2 days and the swelling is usually mild.
