Usually within days to a few weeks.

Ali A. Achira, MD
6 to 8 weeks
When your thyroid has been low for awhile, it will take a few weeks for all the organs to get back to full function. It shouldn't take more than 3 months however & if it does, see your Dr. and get checked to be sure the dose is right. If the dose is too low it will take longer for symptoms to subside or they may not subside at all, so be sure your dose is correct.
