How long does it take to heal tendonitis in the elbow?

I am a 49 year old female. I want to know how long does it take to heal tendonitis in the elbow?

I’m assuming you are referring to a tennis elbow or a golfer’s elbow. These are classified as enthesopathies which could take up to a full year to heal. As with all tendinopathies ice stretching and anti inflammatory meds are helpful. Sometimes a cortisone injection may help alleviate symptoms.
It depends. I realize this is not a popular answer but there are many variables which could affect the recovery time. Things such as…Is it true tendonitis or is it tendinosis? Is it only one tendon involvement or multiple? Are other structures involved in the motor unit?
