It depends on how much correction you need. Mild cases take about 6 months. Severe cases may take 26-30 months.
It takes longer for adults than for children. From 2 years+ for adults. And it’s personal depending on how complex your case is.
To determine the length of time it takes to straighten your teeth depends on a few things. First and most important is the amount of correction that needs to be done. Your dentist or Orthodontist would be the best person to ask and get the correct response from.
Obviously it depends on how crooked your teeth are. If only a few teeth are slightly out of position, it may be accomplished in several months. Significant movement will take more time and even extend from one to two years. You can get the best assessment of the time needed by discussing your needs with an orthodontist.
It all depends what needs to be done and your teeth alignment. It could be from as little as 5 weeks to 2 years.
To get the right answer to your question, you should see the dentist first! The dentist can give an estimation after a thorough exam of your dental condition.
It will all depend on the degree of straightening you need. So, braces can vary from 6-24 months, all depending on the needs of the patient.
Oh,Please do not even think of BRACES in this day and age. Braces are archaic, tortious, barbaric, and can cause permanent damage to the roots of your teeth. They are not cosmetic, and uncomfortable in your mouth. When compared to invisalign the treatment time is more, and they are more costly. Invisalign has come a long way in the last 10+ years. They can treat almost every orthodontic problem, are more comfortable to wear, and are cosmetic-- people don't even know you are wearing them. Invisalign wins hands down over braces.
Hello,
Unfortunately, the time it takes to straighten teeth with braces depends on a lot of factors. The most important ones are how out of alignment your teeth currently are and how many of them you want straightened. A lot of people only want their front teeth straighten; which if you are able to do that, then the amount of time will be much shorter. Also, have you considered Invisalign? A lot of Invisalign cases are done in 6 months or less.
Hope this helps.
My best to you!
