“How long does postpartum depression last?”
I am a 26 year old female. I want to know how long does postpartum depression last?

Normally weeks to maybe couple months. some people may continue to have it then it will not be called postpartum depression anymore and need continued treatment.
If treated appropriately on time before it become chronic, it usually takes about 6 months of treatment even though symptom resolution may occur by 6-8 weeks. If it’s the second time, then it may take longer.
This all depends on the effective treatment being given. In my experience, the best treatment is psychological, i.e., a good therapist.
