“How long would my child need to wear a brace for scoliosis?”
My daughter needs to have a brace on for her treatment of scoliosis. She's 14 years old, and she really hates wearing it. How long do kids usually have to wear a brace for to treat scoliosis? She was diagnosed a few months ago.

At 14 she is likely near skeletal maturity and the brace is not going to do much for her curve if she is finished growing. Girls grow on average until age 14 or 18 months after her menstrual cycles begin.
