“How many days after your period do you ovulate?”
I am a 25 year old female. I want to know how many days after your period do you ovulate?

Ovulation occurs 14 days before your period so knowing how long your cycle is can help predict. For a 28 day cycle it's day 14-15. For a 31 day cycle it's day 17-18. Normal cycle length is from 21-35 days and can vary from person to person. Some women have a clear mucous discharge just before ovulation which is very helpful.
It depends on how long your cycle is. For most women with a 28 day cycle, ovulation occurs day 14 after the first day of the last menstrual period. Subtract 14 from cycle length and that is expected ovulation. For a 30 day cycle it would be day 16.
So, basically, AFTER you ovulate, you have a period 14 days later, assuming you do not get pregnant. If your periods are 28 days apart, then you ovulate 14 days after the first day of your period. So, as long as you have pretty regular periods, you can figure out when you tend to ovulate. They make apps for the iPhone to keep track of your periods which will help you predict when you ovulate.
I hope that this helps.
