How many implants are needed for a full mouth?

I am a 48 year old male. I want to know how many implants are needed for a full mouth?

Great question! A popular method is all on four, meaning four implants are placed to support a fixed hybrid prosthesis. We often add one or two more to provide additional support depending on your bite.

There is no definition number. More is better, though.
It depends on what final restoration you expect. The number of implants could be from 4 at least, to 12 or 16 at most.
In many cases, the minimum number of implants for full fixed reconstruction would be four implants in each arch for a total of eight. However if bone support permits,most dentists may prefer six and six for more functional stability And long term predictability.
