Acupuncture with massage and. herbs can treat and relieve your neck pain gradually. The number of sessions will depend on the severity. I suggest you try it.
For treatment for every year of problem.

It depends, sometimes it goes away after 1 treatment sometimes you need many
This is a very common question that I will ask my doctor. It is very different by people because their neck problems are different.
I will say some people feel immediately release from first visit, some may take 2-3 visits to feels release from pain.
Usually depending on chronic or acute status of the pain, but the least is 7 visits.
Hello!

You would need a diagnosis from your acupuncturist, typically 3 to 6 months, depending on the severity.
Typically, we would like to see some change in symptoms between 6-8 sessions. For more chronic pain, it could take a bit longer; for more acute pain, a few sessions should begin helping decrease pain and improve range of motion and mobility.
Totally depends. 4-14 depending on what’s wrong with neck.
Evaluation is needed. But on average 1-5
If doctors can locate the right part to treat with in five treatment can be recovered.
it depends on how your situation is. If the cause is just sleeping wrong, you might just need one or two acupuncture treatments to relieve the pain, but if it's caused by a car accident, it might take a lot more treatments.
There are many factors that are going to determine the duration of the therapy such as pain intensity, cause of the injury and how long it has been. We have found that the sooner the patient comes to therapy after an injury the faster he or she recovers.

Hi,

The number of sessions is determined by severity and duration of pain, and the diagnosis. Your doctor will tell you how many treatments when you are in the office. Please consult your local acupuncturist.

How many sessions depends on you level of health and balance, the level of severity, and the skills of and connection with your practitioner. When I worked at LA hospitals, ~91% of my pain patients received relief after the first treatment. Apparently, this is a bit rare. Sometimes, it takes longer.
It depends on the condition, and once the pain has been relieved, it would be a good idea to keep up a monthly maintenance routine.

Warmly,

Natalie Ramsey, MS LAc

It depends on your condition. There are so many causes of the neck pain. When you go to any near acupuncturist, they will tell you. Usually within 12 visits you can see the results.
Thanks for interesting the acupuncture!
Every person is different. Most people I treat do need a series of treatments, starting with twice a week and going from there.
1-10.
Depending on what is causing your neck pain will determine the number of treatments you will need. On the average, most patients will start out with 2-3 times a week for 3-4 weeks. Then you can go on a treatment plan of 1-2 times a month to stay pain free.
I couldn't give you a good estimate without knowing your personal health history... but usually anywhere from 5-20 treatments if it will help.
We usually recommend 6 sessions for chronic neck pain. However, the longer the problem is, the more visits you need.
It is really depends on the pain level and frequency. Normally 6-10 sessions, but a patient with bad posture may need regular treatment every so often.
That depends on the reason why you have neck pain, how long you've had it, and your compliance with your practitioners treatment protocols (taking herbs, doing stretches, etc). Generally speaking, if you're not feeling some changes or improvement within 5-8 treatments, it may be in your best interest to seek a new acupuncturist or a different style of acupuncture.
Three times acupuncture is enough.
It depends as every person and every situation is different. Is it chronic? Is it acute? Is it caused by something you do everyday? There are many factors to consider.
The "how many sessions" question is one we get a lot. The problem is the number of treatments can be highly variable. A lot depends on why you're experiencing the issue, whether or not there are lifestyle factors in play, how committed the patient is to addressing lifestyle factors, and how good the acupuncturist is.

Let's start by assuming you're seeing a board certified and state licensed acupuncturist (as opposed to a chiropractor or physical therapist who might be offering "acupuncture like" services with a fraction the training).

Let's also assume that your neck pain is fairly straight-forward from the perspective of the Chinese diagnostic model.

If your pain is acute (you've been experiencing the issue for 6 months or less), then you may be looking at 5-7 treatments to either bring the pain down or resolve the pain entirely.

If your pain is chronic (you've been experiencing the issue for longer than 6 months), then you may be looking at more like 8-10 treatments.

Sometimes acupuncture can resolve pain and no further treatment is needed. Sometimes acupuncture reduces the pain to tolerable levels and maintenance is required to keep the pain tolerable. Maintenance intervals can be highly variable and depend largely on the individual being treated and the root cause for the problem. On the low end maintenance intervals are on the order of 4-6 weeks. On the high end, we're talking one treatment every 12 months or so.

Either way, in the long run, acupuncture is often much cheaper than conventional pain management strategies. Acupuncture also has the advantage of minimal side-effect and no risk of dependency/addiction.
