Twice a day is adequate - morning and at bedtime, but it’s wise to brush after meals to ensure a clean mouth. Remember to also floss (once a day) because your toothbrush bristles can’t reach between your teeth. Interproximal (in-between) cavities are very common in “non-flossers.”

Cleaning your mouth properly may require more than brushing. Consider water-pik and/or dental floss. Consider sonic style toothbrush vs. regular toothbrush. Clean your teeth at least after every time you eat if you want to maintain healthy teeth and gums.

For most people, twice per day for two minutes each time works well. Try both morning and night for two minutes each time.

3 times a day is ideal. It is recommended to brush after every meal. Every time we eat or drink something (other than water) is found to be the highest acidic time for our mouth. To decrease this and to neutralize this out, we brush and in essence decrease the bacteria causing decay, bone loss, and periodontal disease.
