How often should my daughter go to the chiropractor?

My daughter injured her back during a field hockey game and we're taking her for chiropractic care. How often should I take her to chiropractor? She's 17 years old.

If you’re trying to heal the pain, it might be recommended to go multiple times per week. To prevent pain and help with sports performance, she might think about being seen weekly or every other week. I get adjusted every week just for maintenance.
Minimum 1 a week. But usually start 2-3 times a week based on the chronisity and spinal condition.

Depends. Have a work up first, with x ray.
An exam and X-rays are the best way to find out.
Depending on the extent of her injury. If it’s a soft tissue injury involving muscle, only then 3-6 weeks. If there is ligament damage or joint capsule damage, then expect longer than 12 weeks.
That is a bit too general a description to answer that question. A Chiropractor will do a thorough exam and establish true diagnosis and develops a care plan based on those findings, which vary and range with all injuries of all people. Hope I helped. Got your back! Dr Todd Gewant
It depends on the severity and complexity of the problem or injury. Most teenage patients with a low complexity problem would be well served seeing the doctor 2-3 times per week for a month and then be re-evaluated to change therapy protocol.
I hope you find this opinion helpful.

As often as her chiropractor recommends, based off objective findings.

That will depend on how quickly her body responds to treatment. It can be up to 1 to 5 visits.
This depends on the injury severity and what the injury is. I would take her once per week for about 10 weeks.
