I am a 64 year old female. I feel like my dentures scratch my gums. How to fix the uncomfortable feeling of wearing dentures?

Depends on what’s causing the issue. You may need to get new ones if they are old or the ones you have may just need an adjustment. I always tell my denture patients that they never will be comfortable. The body was not designed for dentures. Oftentimes implants can make them more tolerable.
If it scratches your gums in just one area, you may need an adjustment. Some people never really do well with dentures. If it is scratching you all over, you may just want to try an adhesive to act as a cushion.
