I am a 43 year old male. I accidentally slammed the door on my hand and its throbbing. How to manage pain after closing door on hand?

I would recommend ice and elevation and an anti-inflammatory (Motrin, Advil or Aleve). However, it your pain is significant, then you should probably see a physician and get an X-ray to make certain that you do not have a fracture. Good luck.
