“Why is my 8 year old getting headaches?”
My 8 year old son is getting headaches almost every day. What could be the cause?

if he is having a headache every day, he needs to see his pediatrician. Headaches have many causes - some serious, some not no serious. Your doc needs to make sure the headache cause is not a serious issue that needs immediate treatment vs the not so serious (sleep issues/too much medication use/anxiety to name a few)
There are multiple causes. Is there a family history of migraines? This is a common cause of chronic headaches. Vision problems can cause headaches. Tension headaches if muscle strain or poor posture. We all worry about tumors but this is rare. If headaches worsen he would need to be checked
