Is a chin implant painful?

I am a 26 year old female. I am considering a chin implant as I barely have one. Is a chin implant painful?

Chin implant surgery is a common operation performed by board-certified plastic surgeons. The surgery can be done in the office under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia. The modest pain experienced after surgery is easily controlled with pain medication.
Good luck.
Pain after a chin implant is short-lived and easily controlled with pain medications for just a few days
No, in fact it's done under local anesthetic. Very short procedure in office and minimal healing time as the incision is very small.
The recovery is different for everyone, but generally these are not painful procedures; mostly "uncomfortable." Best of luck!
Chin implants are not painful, but stay swollen for 6 weeks.

Generally one of the lower pain producing procedures.
Having a straightforward chin implant inserted is not a particularly painful operation that can often be done without general anesthesia. However, sometimes chin surgery requires a more involved approach which might include cutting bone and even bone grafting. That makes the situation much more painful. You have to talk to your surgeon about all this.

Not usually, the surgery is fairly simple and the post op period is a week or two with limited pain. If there were a post op infection that would be the only significant reason for pain and a slower outcome, but that complication is quite infrequent.
Chin augmentation is generally not painful.
