I am a 51 year old female. I want to know if double vision is common after a vitrectomy?

Double vision is uncommon with vitrectomy. Scleral Buckle procedures for retinal detachment has a small change of causing double vision from limitation of eye movement after the surgery.
No. But it can be a temporary side effect immediately after the procedure. Ask the operating surgeon to investigate. SO
Double vision is uncommon after vitrectomy surgery. It is more common after scleral buckling surgery.
