Is Invisalign a cheaper alternative to braces?

I am a 26 year old male who is looking to save money and fix his teeth. Is Invisalign a cheaper alternative to braces?

No
It's an alternative to braces, but definitely not cheaper.
Not typically. The reason Invisalign is desirable is because it is almost unnoticable, easier to care for your teeth while in treatment and might shorten the duration of treatment. I have not found that it is cheaper.

Invisalign and regular braces could be the same fee- sometime Invisalign is less expensive depending on what doctor is treating. Not all orthodontic cases can be handled with Invisalign- best to see an Orthodontist and then decide. Don't get cheep with your teeth!
Thank you for asking. The answer to your question is: Generally, NO. Both techniques are roughly the same. This, of course, depends upon the severity of your case. But all things being equal you can expect similar fees. I'd check with an orthodontist who I'm sure would be happy to quote you fees for both treatment options, providing either can be done.

It depends on how complicated the case is. A few rotated teeth is not much to do as all vs many teeth our of place or if there are skeletal issues.
At this time, INVISALIGN IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN CONVENTIONAL BRACE TREATMENT I AM AWARE OF INVISALIGN PATIENTS WHO WERE TOLD THAT TO FINISH THEIR CASE, THE BRACKET APPLIANCE WAS NEEDED. INVISALIGN TORQUES THE TEETH TO MAKE THEM APPEAR STRAIGHT. INVISALIGN MAY BE OKAY FOR MINOR CASES. IN DENTISTRY, THERE ARE DENTISTS WHO WANT TO PUSH THE USE OF A NEW PRODUCT. REMEMBER THE MARYLAND BRIDGE. IT WAS DESIGNED FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF ONE TOOTH AND DENTISTS PUSHED IT TO BE SOMETHING MORE. PATIENTS LIKED THE IDEA OF INVISALIGN AND PUSHED THE IDEA TO THEIR
DENTISTS WHO PUSHED INVISALIGN FOR SOME THING MORE. PATIENTS WANT WHAT THEY WANT AND ARE WILLING TO TAKE THE RISK TO GET WHAT THEY WANT. THEY ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT THE BRACE APPLIANCE. I AM SURE THAT THE PATIENTS WHO PUSHED THE INVISALIGN TREATMENT SIGNED THAT IF THEY WERE TOLD BY THEIR TREATING DENTIST THAT THE BRACKET APPLIANCE WAS NEEDED TO FINISH THE TREATMENT, THEY WOULD ACCEPT TREATMENT. TODAY PATIENTS WANT INSTANT GRATIFICATION. INVISALIGN GIVES THE PATIENT THE APPEARANCE OF THEIR TEETH LOOKING LIKE NOTHING IS GOING ON VIA A CLEAR APPLIANCE. A SERIES OF CLEAR APPLIANCES GRADUALLY MOVING OR TORQUES THE TEETH THAT GRADUALLY APPEARS STRAIGHT. IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT THE HUMAN BODY
DOESN'T WORK AS FAST AS THE PRESENT GENERATION WOULD LIKE IT TO. THE INTERNET CAN'T DO DENTISTRY. OUR PRACTICE DOES FULL MOUTH BRACES. WHEN WE WERE MEMBERS OF DENTAL INSURANCE COMPANIES WE HAD TO ACCEPT THEIR RULES. WE WERE GIVEN TIME AND TREATMENT SCHEDULES THAT INSURANCE COMPANIES WOULD RELEASE PAYMENT. IT USUALLY WAS A QUARTERLY PAYMENT FOR 2 YEARS. THE PATIENT'S OWN INSURANCE WAS DICTATING TREATMENT AS TO TIME THE BRACES HAD TO REMAIN ON THE PATIENTS TEETH. AT THE TIME OF TREATMENT, BOTH THE PARENT/PATIENT HAD TO AGREE TO THE INSURANCE COMPANY'S POLICY. WHETHER IT WAS AT THE INITIAL SIGNING OF THE APPLICATION FOR DENTAL INSURANCE THE PATIENT AGREED TO ACCEPT ALL THAT WAS
REQUIRED TO GET DENTAL TREATMENT. THE DENTIST HAS AGREED TO ACCEPT THE INSURANCE COMPANY POLICIES WHEN THE DENTIST APPLIES FOR MEMBERSHIP.! INSURANCE COMPANIES NOW ACCEPT INVISALIGN. ENOUGH PEOPLE WHO WANTED INVISALIGN CHANGED DENTAL INSURANCE COMPANIES POLICIES!
