Not necessarily, but it is healthy to rest , practice good hygiene, lubrication, etc

Wearing contact lenses everyday can cause chronic inflammation of the eye surface, leading to discomfort, redness and dry eye symptoms. Cleaning contact lenses daily or using disposables are important techniques to reduce the risk of a sight threatening infection (corneal ulcer). Refractive surgery such as LASIK or SMILE obviates the need for contact lenses!
If your contacts fit you well and you use appropriate good hygiene techniques, you can wear contacts daily. This assumes you do not have any underlying ocular conditions that make contacts lens wear contraindicated.
It is a personal preference, just make sure to keep your contact lenses clean and take out before bedtime
Contacts have some side effects if you don't follow strict hygiene. Prolonged use can lead to infection and eye injury.
Yes, it decreases oxygen supply to the front of the eye, increases chances of infection and dry eye symptoms. Try to limit contact lens wear to a few hours if you can. The magnitude of the effect depends on contact lens material and how healthy the eyes are overall.
