Yes it is safe to do acupuncture every week. May people have acupuncture sessions 2-3 times a week depending on the conditions being treated.
Yes, in other countries you can receive acupuncture all day every day until the conditions subsides.
Yes, in fact, I have my patients come in twice a week at first until their symptoms go down and stay down between appointments. Then we go to once a week, and then every other week, until it's no longer needed.
Traditional acupuncture is a method of maintaining the health by enhancing immunity by balancing blood and energy through the balance of our body. If you are treated by a traditional oriental acupuncturist, you don't have to worry.
Yes, it is safe to have an acupuncture treatment every week. In acute cases, it is preferred. In China, Japan, and Korea where the medicine is mainstream it is not unusual to have a patient show up several times a week or even daily for an acute condition. Ailments and stress unbalance the body and sometimes it takes the accumulative effect of acupuncture in a
short period of time to really make an impact.

Hi,
Yes, It is safe to do it every week. In fact, in Asia, people do it every day. Why do you have this concern? Do you have any particular reason that you cannot do it every week? If it is about finances, you may check with your practitioner to get a comfortable amount of the fee for treatment.
Hope this helps,

Yes, my preference is once a week for most conditions. Some times people need daily or semi-weekly treatments but weekly is best.
Thank you for your question.
Yes. Most treatments require more than once a week and over a period of several weeks. There are other considerations right now with the coronavirus and whether you want to risk additional puncturing of the skin. You should discuss with your acupuncturist and your primary care physician.

Yes, provided you are working with a fully trained acupuncturist, not a physical therapist doing dry needling or a chiropractor/doctor with 300 hours of training--this is not really acupuncture.

Acupuncture can be performed every week and also every day if it is necessary. Acupuncture doesn't have any side effects however a treatment protocol needs to be drawn for the condition presented and the severity of the symptoms. A frequency of once or twice a week is usually recommended when a patient starts a therapy.

Doing acupuncture once a week should be fine, unless you suffer from adverse effects from the treatments (Nickle/metal allergy, dizziness, fainting, extreme lethargy etc.). Make sure to check with your primary if you’re in good health to try acupuncture then check with the Chinese medical practitioner to see what types of treatments would be suitable and how frequent.

Hello and thank you for your question! Yes, weekly acupuncture is safe! Some even get treatments 2-3 times per week depending on their condition. I typically advise my patients who come in for chronic conditions to get treatments at least once a week for a certain amount of time to enhance the benefits of acupuncture.
Short answer: yes, acupuncture is safe on a weekly basis. It's the general treatment interval in the US for most issues.
Slightly longer answer: in China acupuncture is often done daily or every other day. When I did a clinical rotation in a Beijing hospital, there were in patients who were receiving acupuncture twice a day for the duration of their stay.
