“Is microdermabrasion safe for sensitive skin?”
I am a 30 year old female. I want to know if microdermabrasion is safe for sensitive skin?

Your dermatologist should perform your first treatment on a low setting to see that you don't get irritated. Can always make things stronger next time. If you feel pain, speak up. There shouldn't be any bleeding.

Microdermabrasion is little more than what we used to call "epidermabrasion," the kind of skin abrasion you might get from vigorously rubbing your skin with wash cloth, Buf-Puf, Loofah or Clarisonic. Not really worth the money under the best of circumstances and could be irritating to sensitive skin.
