Is there an alternative to gum grafting?

I am a 38 year old female. I want to know if there is an alternative to gum grafting?

Periodontal treatment or gum therapy is a specialty that includes gum grafting. It usually starts with a "deep cleaning" also known as scale and root planning (SRP). This is actually the preferred method for taking care of the gums. Grafting of the gums is usually done after the SRP's have been determined to not be effective. The only other treatment at that point is to do nothing at all. So to answer your question, the answer is no if you have already exhausted all other treatment.
There is a newer revolutionary style of repairing gum recession called Dr. Chao's pinhole gum rejuvenation. It is done through tiny little pinholes and requires no scalpel and no sutures.
