Is there any way to make a scar go away?

I have a big scar on my hand from a cut. Is there any way to make a scar go away? Can I get plastic surgery?

Not make it ‘go away’ but the scar can be made less noticeable, again depending on the location and nature of the scar.
Depending on the scar and where it is, most likely, you could have the scar cut out and sewn up by a Plastic Surgeon.
After birth all injuries heal by forming scars. Over time scars will fade but they are always there. Talk to your surgeon they can recommend ways to make you r scar look less obvious.
Scars are permanent but sometimes may be improved with topical treatments or surgical intervention. Surgery is not for everyone.
The good news is that many scars can be improved with various types of plastic surgical procedures including scar revision surgery or laser resurfacing. The bad news, however, is that once a scar has occurred, it can never be completely removed. There are also several topical treatments that can help a scar to look better, especially silicone based gels and sheets. It is important to be aware that sun exposure can cause a fresh scar to darken, so be sure to use sunblock to protect any affected areas.
