Is using mouthwash everyday bad for you?

I am a 25 year old male and I use mouthwash every day. Is using mouthwash everyday bad for you?

All mouth washes ( Act, Listerine, Scope) are ADA approved. It’s not bad for you to use once or twice a day.

Using a mouthwash everyday is ok if your using an alcohol free MW, which are harder to find. The toothpaste and mouthwash I have used for almost 30 yrs is Oxyfresh and you can buy it on Amazon. It's more expensive but very concentrated so use about 1/3 the amount you would normally. It is a true breath deodorizer by using chlorine dioxide not just a perfume/flavoring in alcohol. Chlorine dioxide is very helpful for gum problems also

Most mouthwashes are made for daily use. In fact, the companies making them would love for everyone to use them every day. That being said, you want to look at the ingredients. Alcohol-based mouthwashes may not be necessary. As dentists, we say that 1 of the 3 risk factors for oral cancer is alcohol.
