Surgeon Questions Lumps

It feels like I have something under my skin. What could it be?

A few days ago, I had a rising bump come up on the bottom of my stomach and then I noticed something to the side of it. It starts at the bottom of my stomach and goes up a few inches. It's very red and is extremely painful. Should I see a doctor?

Go to the Urgent Care center or see your PCP.
Yes!!! You should see a doctor and let them check you out. No doctor can tell you what it is with out examining you.
I wish you well.

It is probably an inflamed skin cyst. Please see a doctor to make sure. You may need antibiotics.
It is hard to say. It could be an abscess or boil, or it could be an incarcerated hernia with inflamed tissues. You need to seek medical attention as soon as possible!
It is impossible to tell without an examination. You should see a general surgeon or a dermatologist to have them check it.
It sounds like you have a localized skin infection such as an abscess, infected cyst, or folliculitis. It may require antibiotics or drainage to treat. I would recommend consulting with a physician.
