Rheumatologist Questions Juvenile Arthritis

My child has juvenile arthritis. Is there a possibility it will improve with age?

My son is 3 years old now and was born with juvenile arthritis. We are currently treating him with steroids and medications. Will this be a lifelong condition for him? What are the chances that it will improve with age?

Usually goes into remission with therapy
There are several different types of JIA. Monoarticular and oligoarticular often resolve with time. Other types generally do not, but any type of JIA can resolve.
